Ghanaian artistes will get better results promoting songs on Tiktok than in Nigeria -Bullgod

Artiste manager and entertainment pundit, Bullgod, is urging Ghanaian musicians not to fall for the misleading notion of getting their music heard outside Ghana when promoted in Nigeria.

He rather encouraged them to prioritise promoting their songs on Tiktok since the app provides a bigger platform, larger audience and better opportunities.

Bullgod’s comments is in response to a call from Nigerian promoter and broadcaster, Adesope Olajide, urging Ghanaian musicians to choose his country and city, Lagos, as a second place to promote Ghanaian songs.

However, Bullgod pooh-poohs such a move, further explaining that the internet presents a lot of creatives with a better platform to showcase and market their works globally.

“This is 2023, let nobody come and tell us that we need to go to Nigeria to promote music. We won’t go to Lagos. Why should we even do that? There’s no time for that because everything is digital now.

“If we didn’t know the relevance of internet, at least, we experienced its relevance during the peak of coronavirus. Nobody has time to go to Lagos. When you release a song in Accra, the next place should be the TikTok office. If you have the money for promotion, go to the TikTok office and pay them,” he stated.
