Queen Eshun Urges Artistes Not To Sign Under Record Labels

Ghanaian singer and songwriter Ethel Esi Eshun popularly known as Queen Eshun has revealed that artist should not sign with record labels on a recent interview at WatsUp TV.

Speaking during an interview on Fan mix live, the singer said “if I knew what I know now, that it is better to do your own thing and not be under any record label”, she went further to say that “if you sign something on paper that doesn’t affect your life negatively too much, then why not but it will get to a point you will grow and have to do you own thing but the record label won’t allow you”.

She was also asked on Fan mix show by the host MC Tokyo about she being on a record label at first. Was it a good thing or a bad thing for you. In response she stated that “you can’t take that part from me and it is not something I will regret, it shaped me and placed me somewhere now I get to view things in a different perspective”.

The interview was conducted at WatsUp TV on Fan Mix, where the singer was promoting her work and interacting with her fans through the Fan Mix show.

Queen Eshun explained that there are certain things you learn through experiences because you might be told not to do certain things but when you do it and experience it then you see how it is.
