Ghana Food Festival 2026 set for December 12 at Department of Parks and Gardens

The Ghana Food Festival (GFF) is set to return this December with a vibrant celebration of Ghanaian cuisine, culture and entertainment.

The event will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 12 noon to 10 pm at the Department of Parks and Gardens in Cantonments, Accra.

This year's edition, dubbed “Ghana Food Festival: Diaspora Experience 2026”, will celebrate Ghana's rich culinary heritage while bringing together local residents, Ghanaians and other Africans visiting Ghana for the festive season, as well as foreigners living in the country.

Organised by Pen it Multimedia Limited, a media and events management company based in Accra, the festival is supported by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Ameyaw Debrah Media, WatsUp TV and Graphic Communications Group Limited.

The Founder and Creative Director of the Ghana Food Festival, Emmanuel T. Forson, said the festival celebrates Ghanaian food, heritage and culture while creating opportunities for businesses to grow.

“Through this year’s Diaspora Experience, we hope to bring people together and give local and diaspora-owned businesses a platform to showcase their products and connect with new customers,” he said.

The festival will feature a range of activities, including music and dance performances, cultural displays, language crash courses, children's activities and eating competitions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore a variety of food offerings and engage with vendors showcasing their products.

Admission to the Ghana Food Festival: Diaspora Experience 2026 is free.
