"I don't Want Afia Schwarzenegger To Feel Important'-Mzbel Fires Back At Afia Schwarzenegger
Ghanaian musician Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah popularly known as Mzbel has broken her silence on her recent emotional appearance, addressing ongoing tensions with media personality Afia Schwarzenegger.
Speaking during an interview on WatsUp TV’s Fan Mix Live, Mzbel clarified that her emotional moment on screen was deeply rooted in personal experiences and past interactions, particularly involving Afia Schwarzenegger.
According to the singer, she has no intention of elevating Afia Schwarzenegger’s relevance through public exchanges. However, she felt compelled to speak out after what she described as repeated false claims made against her.
“I don’t want to make her feel important,” Mzbel stated. “I got emotional during the interview because of everything that has been said over the years.”
Mzbel explained that during a difficult period, she received overwhelming support and love from the public. However, she was disappointed that Afia Schwarzenegger allegedly used the moment to spread misinformation.
“Everybody was showing me love when the incident happened, and she came out to say things that are not true,” she said.
The musician further revealed that some of the comments made by Afia Schwarzenegger over time had a significant emotional impact on her, contributing to her reaction during the live interview.
She also expressed frustration over being advised to remain silent in the face of such accusations. “People kept telling me to ignore her because she is ‘crazy,’ but in the end, I was being judged and mistreated based on the things she said about me,” Mzbel added.
Mzbel’s candid remarks have since sparked conversations among fans and industry observers, with many weighing in on the ongoing tension between the two public figures.
